Cilio Stainless Decanter Drying Rack
Product Review Perfect for delicate decanters or slender vases, this drying rack from Cilio is handy, simple, and effective. The durable piece is made from stainless steel with a stable base and a sturdy central pole. To dry vases, decanters, and other narrow-necked items, just invert them and balance them on the rubber foot. Drying glassware this way minimizes water spots, and protects mouth edges that can get nicked in a dish drainer. The piece also comes in handy with plastic bags, which can be propped open around the base. A mirror finish makes the rack sleek and shiny, and the minimalist design allows for a variety of storage solutions. The triangular base is 7 inches in diameter, and the stand is 13 inches high. --Emily Bedard Product Description A heavy, well balanced, rubber-tipped stainless steel stand will hold your crystal wine decanters and favorite vases securely as they dry thoroughly and without a spot. The Cilio Frieling Dryer for Decanter is a sleek design that takes virtually no space to store, but is invaluable for drying glass and ceramic decanters, jugs, or bottles. It prevents soap contamination, gets all the moisture out so it won't dilute your wine, and keeps the residue from clouding up the bottom of your crystal. Rubber tip steadies and protects your valuables. Dimensions: 13" high x 7" at base Reader Reviews I was in a bind. I had a beautiful new wine decanter, but no way to dry it. The decanter would not balance upside down on it's own....so I found this. I'm happy with it (hence the 4 stars) except for one minor flaw....the base circle is far too small. After placing the decanter on this 'rack' i find i have to carefully adjust the interface so as not to have an out-of-balance assembly. In other words...it's kind of scary how small the base on this is. I live in earthquake-prone California...and a decanter sitting on this wouldn't survive a 4.0 However, given the other options (and the price)...you can't go wrong. After all, it works!
